Darcy is a director at Partners in Change LLC. Since 2001, she has worked with nearly 100 local and regional companies to plan and/or execute their strategic planning initiatives. For five years she facilitated and co-led the Strategic Eight planning process with the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, she has partnered with Aileron to support their strategic planning offerings.

Darcy has concentrated expertise in strategic planning, continuous process improvement and performance management. In support of her client’s strategic execution, Darcy facilitates strategic and board reviews, implements the balanced scorecard process, and supports leadership and team development efforts. She has led a CEO roundtable of current and past clients to ensure strategic execution. Her tools are aligned with Michael Porter’s Competitive Strategy, Jim Collins Good to Great and Beyond Entrepreneurship, and Kaplan and Norton’s Balanced Scorecard/Strategic Maps, to name a few. She has utilized the DiSC system and Pat Lencioni’s 5 Dysfunctions of a Team for team development workshops.

Her experiences include operations, total quality management, process development and improvement, organizational and marketing for profit and non-profit companies. Before PinC, she was the National Partnership Director of the National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation. Darcy was responsible for developing new partner sales processes, adding new sponsors, conducting feasibility studies, and creating an online customer and partner strategy.

Darcy has a very diverse skill set, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a MBA from Harvard Business School, she has worked for Fortune 100 as well as small companies with less than $3 Million in revenue. She started her career with Procter & Gamble, where she spent 5 years of operational, team development, and risk management experiences before leaving to pursue her MBA. During graduate school, she developed a marketing strategy for Converse, Inc., Action Sport’s Division, utilizing a consumer behavior technology, ZMET, and assisted in many business plans. After HBS, she was a business solutions consultant and completed a process improvement sales initiative for Bayer Plastics, and a supply chain management project for Johnson Wax Professional.

With three children, she stays active in her community and church. Most recently, she was the HBS alumni Club President, Junior Achievement Instructor, and a YMCA fitness instructor. She was recognized as one of Cincinnati’s 40 under 40 and selected as an examiner for the Ohio Award for Excellence. Currently she is on the HBS alumni board for Cincinnati, coaches her children’s soccer teams, and is an avid runner.

Her most recent and notable clients include Wells Fargo Insurance Services (full-service insurance provider), Nuvo Technologies (home audio wholesaler), BHDP (regional architecture), United Performance Metals (specialty metal distributor), KDM P.O.P. Solutions Group (point of purchase print company), Busken Bakery (regional bakery), Telestar Media (media planning company), PDI Communications (distributor of TVs for the healthcare market), Hanser Music Group (guitars, accessories, and instruments wholesaler), Sur-seal (gaskets solutions manufacturer), McHale’s Hospitality Group (caterer and event planner), Voltage (high-end furniture retail), Q10Triad (commercial real estate), and Rogers Jewelry (regional jewelry retailer).
